Ultrasonic based Open Channel Flow Meter, 136 ULT

  SBEM Ultrasonic Level transmitter can be used for Open Channels Flow measurement in various industries like Water and Waste Water, Irrigation, etc. Our 136 ULT can be used to measure the flow rates in various hydraulic devices like par shall flumes, weirs, V-notch, etc. The head rise in the hydraulic device i.e. increase in Level is detected & using a lookup table, converted to Flow rate.

  An Optional Panel Mounting Flow Indicator Totaliser (96X96), Model 191 provides Alarms, 4-20 mA Isolated output or MODBUS on RS485 / RS 232. Also 24 VDC Supply required for 136 ULT will be available.

An accurate measure of instantaneous flow rate is useful for system operators in setting and verifying flow rate. However, because flow rates change over time, a single, instantaneous reading may not accurately reflect the total volume of water delivered. Where accounting for water volume is desired, a method of accumulated individual flow measurements is needed. Where flows are steady, daily measurements may be sufficient to infer total volume. Most deliveries, however, require more frequent measurements. Totalization is essential where water users take water on demand. To serve this purpose, we provide Flow Indicator Totaliser, Model 191.
